Playing Tips

The hilly layout rewards accurate tee shots—favor position over distance off the tee to set up easier approach angles.

Be prepared for swirling sea breezes from Sagami Bay that can affect ball flight, especially on exposed holes and in the afternoon.

Many holes feature elevation changes, so club up on uphill approach shots and club down on downhill shots to avoid coming up short or overshooting.

With two green types (bentgrass and zoysia), expect variations in speed and roll—test the surface on the practice green and adjust putts accordingly.

Avoid missing greens toward steep side slopes where recovery is difficult and play conservatively into tighter landing areas to save pars.
