Playing Tips

Tree-lined fairways demand accuracy off the tee, so favor controlled drives to avoid blocked angles and difficult recovery shots.

Many holes play over rolling, hilly terrain so expect uneven lies on approaches and choose clubs conservatively to account for elevation changes.

Bentgrass greens are usually firm and quick with subtle breaks, so study the slope and try to leave your approach below the hole.

Wind from the Kanto plain can pick up on exposed holes—check wind direction at the tee and adjust your club selection accordingly.

Pins can be placed in challenging locations during competitions, so prioritize hitting the correct portion of the green to leave manageable putts.

Dress Code

Please wear a jacket or blazer when arriving and after playing. (To avoid crowded locker rooms, customers who prefer not to use the lockers may come dressed in their playing attire, and jacket wearing is not required. Also, jacket requirements are relaxed from June to the end of September.) Please refrain from wearing T-shirts, jeans, tracksuits, sandals, etc. Do not wear towels around your neck or hang them from your waist or pants.
