Playing Tips

Accuracy off the tee is rewarded on this 6,905‑yard hilly layout—favor position over distance to avoid the many undulating fairways and tree lines.

Nine ponds come into play at various holes, so plan conservative club selections on approach shots and favor the safer side of greens.

Being near Lake Kasumigaura, wind can be gusty and variable—check wind direction on each tee and add or subtract club accordingly.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained but can be subtle and fast—commit to your line, read the slope carefully, and use soft spikes as recommended.
