Fairways are generally wide and forgiving so you can be aggressive off the tee, but still prioritize position to leave comfortable approach angles into the greens.

The bentgrass greens are protected by strategically placed bunkers so accurate iron play and course-management on approaches are essential to avoid difficult sand shots.

Although fairways are described as flat and wide, there are rolling, hilly sections on some holes so double-check club selection for uphill or downhill approaches.

Because the course has hosted championship events and plays long for a typical 18, stay conservative when your drive leaves you with long approaches—lay up when necessary to a preferred yardage.

Pay attention to wind, particularly on more exposed holes, as even moderate gusts can significantly affect club selection and ball flight.
