Different nines emphasize precision or length, so pick clubs off the tee based on the hole’s layout rather than always trying to hit driver.

Bentgrass portions of the greens tend to be smoother and quicker while zoysia areas hold approach shots, so adjust speed and landing strategy for each green type.

Recent renovations improved turf and facilities but fairways can firm up, so favour controlled, lower-trajectory shots when conditions are firm.

Watch for shifting winds on exposed holes in Kanto that can alter club selection and ball flight, especially in spring and autumn.
