The front nine is relatively wide and scoreable, so play aggressively and try to set up birdie opportunities early.

The back nine is trickier with more strategic tee shots and demanding approaches, so favor accuracy over distance to avoid trouble.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and can be faster than expected, so take time to read subtle breaks and control your speed.

Hilly terrain means elevation changes will affect club selection—club up or down accordingly on uphill and downhill shots.
