Bentgrass greens are generally true and can be faster than expected, so take time to read subtle breaks and control your speed.

Hilly terrain means elevation changes will affect club selection—club up or down accordingly on uphill and downhill shots.

Night golf lighting can alter depth perception, so confirm distances carefully and rely on conservative club selection; soft spikes are recommended.
