The course is gently rolling with relatively generous landing areas, so prioritize accuracy and smart course management rather than trying to overpower holes with distance.

Check which green type is in play since bentgrass putts will generally run faster and hold differently than zoysia/Koma greens, so adjust approach-spin and putting speed accordingly.

Many holes are framed by traditional Japanese garden plantings and trees, so favor conservative tee and approach shots to keep the ball in the center of the fairway and give yourself straightforward angles into greens.

Winds on the Kanto plain are often light to moderate but can pick up in the afternoon or on exposed stretches, so monitor flags and be ready to club up on breezier days.
