Hayama International Country Club is a scenic 36-hole golf course located about 50 minutes by car from central Tokyo, set on the hills of the Miura Peninsula in Shonan Hayama. The club features two distinct courses: the bold and dynamic Diamond Course, designed by Kōkichi Yasuda and Yūji Kodera, and the Emerald Course, originally designed by Shirō Akahoshi with additional layout changes for variety. Playing Tips

Treat the two courses differently—Diamond plays bolder and demands longer tee shots while Emerald rewards accuracy and thoughtful placement.

Wind from Tokyo Bay can change club selection, so check wind direction on elevated tees and add or subtract clubs accordingly.

Many approaches are played to elevated or sloped greens, so allow for uphill/downhill clubbing and aim for the center of the green to avoid tricky fringes and false fronts.

Bentgrass greens can be true but often have subtle undulations, so study putt lines carefully and avoid aggressive lines on fast days.
