About This Course

Hayakoshi Country Club is a scenic 36-hole championship golf course located just 20 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. Set on the peaceful hills overlooking the Yufutsu Plain and the Pacific Ocean, the course features two distinct wings: the North Wing offers wide fairways and long drives designed for professional tournaments, while the South Wing incorporates natural terrain with varied challenges and strategic hazards. The North Wing has wide fairways that reward distance, so be aggressive off the tee there but keep position to set up second shots.

The South Wing uses natural undulation and water hazards—favor controlled tee shots and consider laying up to avoid creeks and ponds around the greens.

Expect coastal and plain winds to affect club selection; always check the flag and play one club more into a headwind and one less with a firm tailwind.

Greens are bentgrass and tend to run firm and true in summer, so read subtle breaks carefully and be cautious with long downhill putts.
