Playing Tips

At nearly 6,900 yards and par 72, Hanno rewards distance off the tee but also demands accuracy—favor conservative tee shots to keep approaches in play.

The course uses both Zoysia (Koma) and Bentgrass greens, so expect Zoysia to play slower and hold shots in warm months while Bentgrass will be firmer and faster, requiring different spin and speed control.

Soft-spiked shoes are required, and early morning rounds often produce softer, slower greens due to dew, so take one more club for approach shots than you would in dry conditions.

Winds in the Kanto inland area are typically light to moderate but can increase in the afternoon, so check the breeze on approach and adjust club selection or lay-ups accordingly.
