Playing Tips

1
Trees separate many holes so prioritize hitting the fairway and favor controlled, accurate tee shots over trying to overpower holes.
2
With both Zoysia and Bentgrass greens on site, check the green type before your round because Zoysia tends to play firmer/slower while Bentgrass can be faster and truer, affecting putt speed.
3
Moderately placed water hazards and bunkers make conservative approach play prudent—lay up when carry or angle is uncertain to avoid big numbers.
4
The course is gently rolling and largely tree‑sheltered so wind is often light, but exposed holes with mountain views can be breezy and change club selection slightly.
5
Soft spikes are required and the layout encourages a relaxed pace, so bring stable footwear and focus on course management rather than distance.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns
Kanto/Saitama features warm, humid summers with a rainy season in June and occasional late‑summer typhoons, mild winters with rare heavy snow, and generally clear, stable conditions in spring and autumn which bring the best visibility of the surrounding mountains.
Best Season to Play
Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures, stable weather, and the clearest views of the Okumusashi mountains, while the rainy season (June) and midsummer (hot, humid, occasional typhoons) are less ideal.
