Playing Tips

Fairways average wide so you can be aggressive off the tee, but many landing areas are guarded by strategic hazards so plan tee shots to preferred angles rather than just distance.

Large Bentgrass greens hold shots well but are subtly contoured, so prioritize precise distance control and pay attention to subtle breaks on longer putts.

The signature water hole with a pond and creek penalizes short approaches, so err on the side of more club to avoid difficult recovery shots from the front-side hazards.

Because the course is hilly, account for elevation changes when clubbing—downhill shots play shorter and uphill shots significantly longer, especially into the wind.

Wind can be variable: exposed ridge and tee shots are often gusty while holes through the pine valley can be surprisingly sheltered, so check wind direction at each tee.
