The three 9-hole layouts (East, Central, West) are mostly flat with wide fairways, so accuracy off the tee is rewarded more than sheer distance.

Ponds and strategically placed trees come into play on several holes, so plan approach shots to avoid water and blocked landing areas.

Several holes feature notable left doglegs where laying up or shaping a draw will often produce the best angle into the green.

The well-maintained bentgrass greens can show subtle breaks, so spend extra time reading putts and favor conservative lines when unsure.

Being near the Sea of Japan means exposed holes can pick up crosswinds or gusts, so check wind direction and club accordingly; carts are permitted on fairways, which helps recovery and positioning.

Located on the Sea of Japan side, the area has cold, snowy winters with significant snowfall, a wet rainy season in June, hot humid summers with occasional sea breezes, and generally clearer, milder weather in autumn; coastal winds can affect exposed holes.

Best Season to Play

Late spring (May) and autumn (September–November) offer the most comfortable and stable conditions with clearer skies and moderate temperatures; avoid winter because of heavy snow and mid-June during the rainy season.

Dress Code

During play, please refrain from wearing clothing not sold as golf (sports) wear, such as T-shirts and jeans. Please wear soft spikes or spikeless golf shoes during play. For safety and heatstroke prevention, wearing a hat is recommended during play.
