The Tojinbo Course winds through tree-lined valleys where precise tee shots and course management are more important than raw distance.

The Echizen Misaki Course's wide, gently rolling fairways reward aggressive drives but expect uneven lies and elevation changes around landing areas.

The Kuzuryu Course features strategically placed water hazards, so play conservatively into short holes and favour the safer side of greens when in doubt.

Bentgrass greens generally hold approach shots but can be subtly undulating and quick, so spend extra time reading breaks and controlling putt speed.

As a hilly course on the Sea of Japan side, wind and elevation shifts frequently affect club selection, so adjust for wind and uphill/downhill lies.
