Located at the foot of Mount Fuji, Gotemba often has cool mornings with low cloud or fog and changeable, sometimes gusty winds, with warm summers and cold winters that can bring occasional snow.

Best Season to Play

Late spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the clearest views of Mount Fuji and the most comfortable, stable playing conditions.

Dress Code

Inside the clubhouse: Blazers must be worn except from June to September. Jeans, T-shirts, and sandals are not allowed. On the course: Collared shirts must be worn with the shirt tucked into the pants. Jeans, T-shirts, miniskirts, and hot pants are not allowed.
