Many greens are two-tiered, so always check the pin position and play your approach to the correct level to avoid long, tricky putts.

On a hilly layout exceeding 7,000 yards, pay close attention to elevation changes and adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots.

Doglegs, bunkers and water hazards are strategically placed, so favor the safer side of the fairway when the tee shot leaves you with a difficult angle to the green.

Coastal winds can influence ball flight on this island course, so check wind direction at the tee and adjust aim and club choice accordingly.

Bentgrass greens hold well but can play brisk on slopes, so trust your line and try to leave approach shots below the hole when possible.
