The West Course uses natural terrain and tighter landing zones, so favor accuracy and consider hybrids or long irons off the tee to stay in play.

Bentgrass greens run fairly fast and true, particularly during tournament setups, so read subtle breaks carefully and consider taking one extra club on firm greens.

Hilly topography creates many uphill/downhill and uneven lies, so play to safe target areas rather than chasing flags on blind or downhill approaches.
