About This Course

Asahi Kokusai Takarazuka Country Club is a distinguished 18-hole hilly course located at the foot of Mount Sanzou in Hyogo Prefecture. The front nine features wide fairways lined with pine and cedar trees, along with scenic water elements, including pools and streams. While the layout offers some downhill and water crossing shots, it remains approachable with shorter distances. The back nine is spacious and flat, providing an open and grand playing experience, though the longer middle holes present a greater challenge in securing par. With over 30 years of tradition, this classic course blends natural beauty and refined design for golfers seeking both challenge and tranquility.

Playing Tips

1
The front (OUT) nine is lined with pine and cedar and features water crossings, so prioritize accuracy off the tee and aim for the center of the fairway to avoid trouble.
2
Several holes play downhill or at shorter yardages—choose a conservative club and let the terrain add distance rather than over‑clubbing.
3
The back (IN) nine is wide and relatively flat but contains longer middle holes where distance and smart course management are key to saving pars.
4
Greens are bentgrass with moderate speed and subtle undulations, so read breaks carefully and focus on lag putting to minimize three‑putts.
5
Wind can be variable because of the tree cover and hilly routing—expect swirling breezes on exposed tees and adjust club selection accordingly.
