The stunning backdrop of Mount Fuji can be visually deceptive and make judging distances and wind difficult, so rely on yardages or a rangefinder rather than sight alone.

Mornings often have fog and visibility issues while winds typically increase in the afternoon, so plan tee times and strategy around variable conditions.

Mornings frequently bring asagiri (morning mist) and reduced visibility, afternoons often produce gusty mountain winds, summers are humid with occasional heavy rain during the rainy season, and temperatures tend to be cooler than the lowlands especially outside of summer.

Best Season to Play

Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) are best for clear skies, mild temperatures and reliable views of Mount Fuji, while summer can be humid with rainy-season showers and winter is colder though can offer crisp visibility on clear days.
