Lunch between nines

Many 18-hole rounds pause after nine for a relaxed clubhouse lunch.

Japan golf, answered

Quick answers for planning your first round.

Can foreigners book golf courses directly in Japan?

Yes, many courses welcome overseas visitors. However, some booking sites require a Japanese phone number or address, and course policies vary. Our booking assistance can handle the coordination when direct booking is difficult.

Do I need a caddie?

Usually not. Many courses offer self-play with a cart, while caddie plans are available or required at some clubs. Check the plan details before booking.

What do green fees usually cost?

As a practical guide, weekday self-play often costs about ¥8,000–¥18,000. Weekend and holiday rounds commonly run ¥15,000–¥28,000 or more, depending on the course, season, lunch, cart, and caddie.
