Bentgrass greens can be relatively quick with subtle contours, so focus on hitting approaches below the hole and controlling spin for uphill putts.

The highland setting produces variable wind—check wind direction on each tee and be prepared to club up on exposed holes.

Fairways are relatively generous, allowing forgiving tee shots, but accuracy into the greens is rewarded because of sloping surrounds.

Several holes have noticeable elevation changes, so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill approaches rather than relying solely on yardage.
