The high elevation means thinner air and longer ball flight—consider clubbing down for the same yardage compared with sea-level courses.

Bentgrass greens tend to be smooth and can run quick in cool, dry conditions, so take time to read breaks and favor conservative lag putts when unsure.

Mountain winds are changeable and can be stronger than they look from the tees, so always check wind direction and strength before selecting clubs.

Late spring through early autumn (May–October) offers the most comfortable playing conditions with cool summer days and attractive autumn colors, while winter brings heavy snow and is generally unsuitable for play.
