Asama Kogen Country Club is a scenic 18-hole course located at the foothills of Mt. Toribozuyama in Nagano Prefecture. Offering stunning 360-degree views of the Yatsugatake and Northern Alps mountain ranges, the course features gentle yet varied terrain with some uphill and downhill sections. Each hole presents a challenge with out-of-bounds areas on either side, encouraging thoughtful and controlled play. Hilly terrain produces uphill and downhill lies that affect club selection and stance, so adjust yardage and ball position accordingly.

The course's bentgrass greens are typically well-kept and can play firm and true in warm months, so spend time reading subtle contours and avoid long downhill putts.

Exposed elevated tees and the foothill location mean wind can change quickly—check wind on raised tee boxes and play conservatively when gusty.
