The course is hilly so adjust club selection for elevation changes on both tee shots and approaches.

The bentgrass greens have varied contours so aim for the center of the green and try to leave putts below the hole when possible.

Several mid-holes require water crossings, so prioritize accuracy over maximum distance and consider smart layups on risk-reward holes.

Exposed and elevated tees can be affected by gusty mountain breezes, so check wind direction before committing to aggressive lines.

Located in inland Tochigi, the area has four distinct seasons with hot, humid summers and a June rainy season, mild springs, clear cool autumns, and cold winters with occasional snow, while mountain breezes can produce gusts on exposed holes.

Late spring (April–May) and autumn (September–November) offer the most pleasant weather and the best scenery, while the rainy season in June and snowy midwinter are less ideal.

We kindly ask that you wear a jacket upon arrival (optional from June to September). Please wear sportswear with a collar during play. T-shirts, sweatshirts, jeans, and sandals are not allowed.
