Great Sapporo Country Club is an 18-hole golf course operated by PGM, set on a hill overlooking expansive plains. The hilly layout offers wide fairways that encourage powerful shots, while each hole presents a unique design, keeping the game fresh and enjoyable for repeated play. Located 17 km from Chitose Airport and about 60 km from Sapporo Station, the course provides convenient access via high-standard roads. The putting greens are bentgrass, and soft spikes are recommended. Please note that reservations must be made using the rates displayed on Rakuten GORA, as other pricing plans are not accepted.

You can practice at this course! Take advantage of the practice range to warm up before your round or work on your skills.

打球建议

Wide fairways encourage aggressive tee shots, but the hilly terrain and landing slopes can reduce roll so accuracy still pays off.

Account for elevation changes carefully and adjust club selection on uphill and downhill approaches since the course is set on rolling terrain.

Bentgrass putting surfaces run true and can be relatively quick in warm weather, so take firm reads and control approach spin to avoid long par putts.

Many holes are exposed toward the surrounding plains so check wind direction and strength at each tee and factor it into club choice.

Soft spikes are recommended and firm fairways can add extra roll, so plan layups and approach distances conservatively when the course is dry.

Late spring through early autumn (roughly May–October), with the most stable and pleasant conditions in June–September; winters bring heavy snow and the course is not practical to play.
