Tight, tree-lined fairways reward accuracy off the tee more than raw distance, so prioritize keeping the ball in play.

Several holes have ponds and bunkers guarding landing areas and approaches, so favor conservative club selection to avoid big numbers.

With two green types (Bentgrass and Zoysia), expect differing speeds—Bent can be faster and truer while Zoysia reads slightly slower and firmer—so adjust your putting pace accordingly.

The forest setting usually reduces wind impact, but exposed holes can become breezy and affect long clubs, so watch clubhouse wind reports and use the GPS distances.
