Many holes feature strategically placed water hazards, so prioritize accuracy off the tee and on approach shots rather than always trying to hit maximum distance.

At about 5,600 yards the course plays shorter than many modern layouts, so choose the appropriate tees to keep your round enjoyable and avoid penal second shots.

Being riverside, wind can be variable and gusty—anticipate crosswinds on exposed holes and play conservative club selection when unsure.

The course uses two green types (Zoysia and Bermudagrass), so green speed and grain can vary; test putts on the first green to get a read and adjust for potentially slower or grain-influenced rolls.
