At 7,129 yards on a hilly layout, distance from the tee is useful but keeping the ball in play is more important—favor controlled tee shots over low-percentage power swings.

The course features large bentgrass one greens that require delicate touch and precise distance control, so prioritize lag putting to save strokes.

Several holes are framed by lakes and well-placed bunkers, so plan conservative approach shots and aim for the safer portions of the green when water is in play.

Frequent elevation changes mean club selection must account for uphill and downhill lies—take an extra club for uphill approaches and one less for downhill shots.

Wind can be gusty on exposed ridges, so check conditions and adjust trajectory and aim accordingly, and remember soft spikes are mandatory for play.
