Meilake Hills Country Club is a scenic 18-hole course located in Fujioka, Gunma. Known for its well-maintained bentgrass greens, the hilly layout takes full advantage of the natural terrain, featuring ponds, creeks, and wooded hills that add variety and challenge to every hole. Since a course redesign in 2016, it has gained a reputation for its excellent playing conditions throughout the year. After your round, you can relax and unwind at the onsite natural hot spring, Fukuju no Yu, making for a refreshing golf experience in the Kanto region.

The hilly layout rewards accurate tee shots over pure distance, so prioritize fairway position to leave manageable approach shots.

Ponds, creeks and wooded areas are common hazards, so avoid aggressive pin hunts and play to safe bailout areas when in doubt.

Well-maintained bentgrass greens can be quick and true, so emphasize approach accuracy and careful speed control on putts.

Elevation changes mean club selection can vary substantially on uphill and downhill shots, and wind on ridges can alter yardages so check conditions before each tee shot.

Gunma is inland with hot, humid summers and warm afternoons prone to thunderstorms, and cool to cold winters with occasional light snow; wind is generally milder than on the coast but can become gusty on exposed ridges and elevated tees.

Spring (April–June) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures, stable conditions and attractive foliage, while midsummer can be very hot and late summer has higher typhoon risk.

Entry and play are not allowed in inappropriate attire such as jeans, T-shirts, and sandals. Visitors wearing sandals, Crocs, etc. will be refused entry. During play, please refrain from wearing clothing not sold as golf wear, such as T-shirts and jeans. Please wear golf shoes with soft spikes or spikeless soles during play. For safety and heatstroke prevention, wearing a hat during play is recommended.
