Accuracy off the tee matters more than distance because several holes are crossed or flanked by creeks, so favour the safer side of fairways.

The third hole is tree‑guarded and requires a precise tee shot to avoid difficult recovery plays into the green.

With one large bentgrass green that shows noticeable undulation, focus on hitting the correct side of the green to leave an uphill or simple putt.

Elevation changes are generally gentle, but club selection can be affected by the rolling terrain and occasional crosswinds, so check the wind before each shot.

Play conservatively around water hazards and use course management to avoid short‑side approaches where the greens slope away.
