Meyama Country Club is a mountain course that makes use of the terrain in the western part of Mt. Myōzan. While there are some gentle elevation changes, the course is relatively short and fairly flat, allowing players to keep their scores steady. The course is highly praised for its stunning views, especially the beautiful outlook over the Tokushima Plain from the 14th hole. Conveniently accessible by car via several major expressways and about a 25-minute drive from Tokushima IC, it is also reachable by taxi from Tokushima or Kuramoto stations within 15 to 20 minutes. Soft-spike shoes are recommended for play.

The course is relatively short with gentle elevation changes, so aggressive approach shots are often rewarded and many par‑4s can be reached with mid‑to‑short irons.

Fairways are on the narrower side, so prioritise accuracy off the tee over pure distance to avoid trouble.

The 14th hole is a standout for its view over the Tokushima Plain and can be more exposed to wind, so account for wind when selecting your approach club.

Greens are Zoysia (Koma) and usually play at moderate speed with subtle breaks, so aim for the center of the green and be careful with long lag putts.

Expect mountain breezes and variable wind conditions; adjust club selection for uphill or downhill lies and note that soft‑spike shoes are recommended.
