The par‑short 7th requires a confident club selection for a valley carry—take one more club if the wind is against you to ensure you cross safely.

On the back nine account for downhill carries on holes 11 and 16 and the valley crossing on 12 by allowing for extra roll and adjusting club selection accordingly.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and can be quick, so prioritize distance control and approach shots to the correct side of the hole for easier putts.

Tree‑lined fairways and surrounding pine make accuracy off the tee important, so favor controlled drives or fairway woods when accuracy is more valuable than distance.
