The front nine’s relatively flat fairways and gentle contours reward aggressive tee shots and allow good angles into greens, so press a little on scoring holes there.

Ponds and creeks are used strategically—favor conservative club selection into holes with water to avoid big numbers from risky approaches.

The back nine’s century‑old trees tighten landing zones around the tees, so prioritize accuracy off the tee and favor controlled, lower‑trajectory shots when tree limbs come into play.

Greens are bentgrass and generally receptive but can show subtle breaks, so focus on precise distance control on approaches and take time to read putts carefully.
