Deep bunkers and well-placed hazards demand accurate tee shots—play to the safest parts of the fairway rather than always trying to overpower the course.

Seaside winds can be fickle and change during your round, so monitor wind direction and adjust club selection, favouring lower trajectory shots when it gets gusty.

The front and back nines require different approaches, so plan conservatively on holes protected by bunkers and be ready to change strategy mid-round.
