At 6,872 yards with a hilly layout, accuracy off the tee is often more important than raw distance to avoid trees and thick rough.

Several holes are bordered by lakes and forest, so favouring the safe side of the fairway on tee shots reduces the chance of penalty strokes.

Account for elevation changes when selecting clubs as uphill and downhill approaches can substantially alter yardage.

Bentgrass greens hold approach shots well but can show subtle undulations, so observe wind and pin placement carefully when planning putts.
