This hilly 7,098-yard layout rewards accurate driving and long hitters but prioritizing position into narrower fairways is often more productive than pure distance.

Fairways play relatively tight so favor controlled tee shots and sensible layups to give yourself the best angle into the greens.

Being near the Pacific and Mount Tarumae, winds can swirl and change with elevation—check the wind at higher points and adjust club selection accordingly.

Bentgrass greens are generally true but can be firm and present subtle breaks, so read the grain and speed carefully when putting.

Many holes feature elevation changes so account for uphill and downhill clubbing and for run‑up shots on sloped fairways when planning approach shots.
