Wide, flat fairways reward conservative tee shots—prioritize keeping the ball in play to avoid strategically placed bunkers and water hazards.

The back nine includes an optional EXTRA tee that can lengthen the course to a par 74, so confirm tee placements and club up when those tees are in use.

With few trees and an open layout, wind (including coastal breezes) can noticeably affect ball flight, so factor crosswinds into club selection and target lines.

Greens are bentgrass and often undulating, so focus on landing areas and lag putting to minimize three-putts on tricky breaks.

Although the fairways are forgiving, aggressive lines into well-guarded greens can be punished, so play safe routes when in doubt around bunkers and water.
