The Arnold Palmer–designed, hilly layout rewards well-placed tee shots, so favor accuracy over sheer distance to leave comfortable approach angles.

Fairways are generally wide, allowing conservative tee strategies, but beware of slopes that can funnel balls into rough or awkward lies.

Greens are large, undulating bentgrass surfaces, so prioritize hitting the green and spend extra time reading subtle breaks and speed.

Account for elevation changes on approaches—club up for uphill shots and club down for downhill to avoid coming up short or overshooting the green.

Wind can pick up on exposed holes, so factor wind direction and strength on long irons and par‑3s when selecting clubs.
