The course is hilly with a wide, scenic outcourse but a tighter incourse featuring ponds and creeks, so prioritize distance off the tee on the outward nine and accuracy on the inward nine.

At nearly 6,900 yards, long hitters can attack some par-5s but disciplined course management is essential to avoid water and difficult recovery shots.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and can be relatively fast, so pay attention to subtle breaks and control approach spin to reduce three-putts.

Elevation changes are common, so adjust club selection for uphill and downhill shots and consider taking one extra club on long uphill approaches.

Winds in the Kansai area are usually light to moderate but can strengthen in exposed sections or during typhoon season, so check conditions before committing to aggressive tee shots.
