Playing Tips

1
Wide fairways reward controlled tee shots, but the overall 7,196-yard length means choosing forward tees is sensible for most amateur players.
2
Because the layout is hilly, club selection can change hole-to-hole—expect uphill approaches to play longer and downhill shots to play shorter.
3
Greens are bentgrass and can be firm and well-contoured, so focus on accurate approach shots and be prepared for subtle breaks when putting.
4
Wind can be variable on exposed ridges, so check direction and carry distances carefully on elevated tees and approach shots.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns
Kansai (Hyogo/Nishinomiya) typically has hot, humid summers with a rainy season in June and possible typhoons in late summer, mild and relatively dry winters, and changeable spring and autumn conditions that are generally pleasant for golf.
Best Season to Play
Spring (April–May) and autumn (October–November) offer the most comfortable temperatures and stable conditions, avoiding the heavy rain and typhoon risk of early summer and the intense heat of midsummer.
