Playing Tips

The course sits on gentle south-facing hills so account for uphill and downhill club selection, often taking one more club for uphill approaches.

Fairways are relatively forgiving but position off the tee is important to avoid uneven lies on sloping terrain and to leave favorable angles into the greens.

Bentgrass greens are generally receptive but can show subtle breaks, so aim for the center of the green on longer approaches to avoid three-putts.

Wind is usually light to moderate; however, exposed ridge sections can become gusty so check flags and adjust trajectory accordingly.

Soft spikes are recommended and comfortable footing on the hilly terrain will help you make more controlled swings and better recoveries.
