Playing Tips

The front nine winds through woodland with tighter fairways so prioritize accuracy off the tee and consider fairway woods or long irons instead of a driver.

Several back-nine holes play around a pond—avoid aggressive carries over water and favor conservative layups to the safer side of the fairway.

The course is gently hilly so expect uphill and downhill approach shots; club up for climbs and allow for extra run on downhills.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and receptive but relatively subtle in break, so focus on speed control and careful line reading on putts.

Mountain breezes from the Togakushi area can pick up in the afternoon, so check wind direction on the cart navigation before key shots.
