Tsuru Country Club in Yamanashi offers a serene 27-hole layout nestled among natural red pine forests with scattered birch, larch, and zelkova trees. The course is divided into two sections: an 18-hole flat and spacious forest course on the west side, and a strategic, rolling 9-hole course on the east side suitable for all skill levels. Located about 50 minutes by car from Hachioji IC and close to Tsuru IC, it provides modern golf carts with automatic driving and navigation systems for a smooth self-play experience. Bentgrass greens are generally true and can be firm, so focus on distance control and carefully read subtle breaks.

Use the automatic carts with navigation to manage routing and pace, and follow the club’s etiquette while wearing soft spikes as recommended to protect surfaces.

Wind tends to be more noticeable on exposed hill holes, so check conditions before choosing trajectories and club loft.
