The inward nine contains several doglegs, so plan tee shots to leave the best angle into the green rather than gambling for maximum carry.

The large, tiered 12th green demands precise approach shots and careful attention to pin position to avoid difficult downhill or side-hill putts.

Open fairways and some elevated tees can channel wind from Lake Tojo, so always check wind direction and adjust club selection accordingly.
