Playing Tips

Play conservatively from the tees on the front nine’s rolling fairways and aim for the center to avoid unpredictable slope-induced runs.

Prioritize accuracy on the back nine where tree-lined holes and bunkers make placement off the tee more important than distance.

Account for coastal wind off the Sea of Japan which can shift club selection significantly, especially on exposed holes with crosswinds.

Approach shots should be judged carefully as the bentgrass greens are receptive but often undulating, so control of spin and trajectory helps hold the putting surfaces.

Given the relatively short overall yardage, take advantage of fairway woods or long irons to attack greens, but remain cautious of hole locations and hidden hazards.
