Playing Tips

1
The course is 27 holes arranged as three distinct nines across hilly terrain, so pay extra attention to club selection on uphill and downhill shots.
2
Greens are Zoysia with subtle undulations, so expect moderate-to-slower speeds and read the grain and slope carefully when putting.
3
Favor conservative tee shots to keep the ball in play on narrow or sloped landing areas rather than always trying to overpower holes.
4
Approach shots should prioritize the center of greens because missing below the hole often leaves more makeable up-and-downs on the undulating complexes.
5
Wind can pick up near exposed ridges at the foot of Taiheizan, so check wind direction from elevated tees and adjust club choice accordingly.

Weather & Seasonal Information

Local Weather Patterns
As an inland Kanto course at the foot of Taiheizan, expect hot, humid summers with occasional typhoon influence, mild and often breezy springs, and cold winters with possible frost; winds can pick up on exposed ridges near the mountain.
Best Season to Play
Best played in spring for the cherry blossoms (around April) and in autumn (October–November) for comfortable temperatures and colorful foliage.
