About This Course

The Imperial Country Club, operated by PGM, is a spacious 27-hole course located in Inashiki, Ibaraki. Featuring wide fairways and strategically placed bunkers inspired by classic American courses, it offers both challenge and enjoyment for players. The bentgrass greens are set amid a forested layout, providing a refreshing outdoor experience. From December 1, 2024, the club will offer night play with full LED lighting, allowing golfers to enjoy the course after dark. Playing Tips

Take advantage of the generally wide fairways by playing a conservative tee shot to avoid the large, irregular bunkers inspired by classic American designs.

The bentgrass greens are usually smooth and can be quick in cooler months, so focus on distance and speed control for approaches and putts.

Because the course is forested with visible hazards from many tees, plan club selection carefully to avoid water and bunkers rather than attacking blindly.

Be aware of wind on exposed holes—winds from the coast can pick up and a lower ball flight can help keep approach shots on target.

Night play under full LED lighting is available from December, so use a high‑visibility ball and rely on cart markers and GPS for alignment after dark.
