Accuracy off the tee is essential on this tree-lined forest course with generally narrow fairways, so consider using a safer club when needed rather than always hitting driver.

At nearly 7,000 yards the course is long—long hitters are rewarded but strategic layups on long par 4s and par 5s will keep you out of trouble.

Bentgrass greens are well maintained and can be quick and true, so judge speed carefully and prioritize hitting the correct sections of the green.

Many holes are sheltered by trees which reduces wind, but exposed holes can still play windy—check conditions and adjust club selection accordingly.
