Adjust club selection for elevation—take one more club for uphill approaches and one less for downhill to avoid coming up short or overshooting greens.

Bentgrass greens are generally true and can run quick, so aim to leave approach shots below the hole and be cautious with pace on long putts.

Exposed ridge and high-elevation holes produce variable crosswinds, so keep a lower, controlled ball flight into the wind rather than trying to hit maximum distance.
