Takamatsu Country Club, known as the "St. Andrews of Shikoku," is one of the oldest handmade courses in the region, preserving its natural undulating terrain. Playing Tips

Prepare for significant elevation changes on the Konpira nine by clubbing up for uphill approaches and taking less club for downhill shots.

On the longer Seto nine, factor coastal wind off the Seto Inland Sea into club selection, especially on exposed tees and par-5s.

Zoysia (Kōrai) greens tend to be slower and hold approach shots well, so aim for firm landing areas and read subtle breaks carefully.

Accuracy off the tee is rewarded on this mountain course's narrower landing zones, so prioritize position over pure distance to leave easier approach shots.
